New techniques

My knit wear :D

I had a friend over yesterday evening. He is rather good in knitting I have to say. And he thought that it was not very good of a designer not to know more techniques then sewing. 

I should know them all! 

And boy he is right. Come on, I should know how to do it all, if not perfect but at least the basics! 

So yesterday he came over and we had a kitting party. 

I made this! Not big at all, but I learned to straight knit, hot to get lost holes back and hot to finish the knit I've done. 

Monday I will go to the store, get myself some stuff and get starting. Next time we'll go through new kitting ways. 

 So what more techniques should I get a grip off, crochet, bobbin lace? What else do we have out there.
