Cooking

I cook almost everyday. Just when I came to Czech Republic I almost never cooked.
One reason was that I didn't live in places where I felt I could cook. And as well, as I had a very active social life. I was out meeting people, most of the days after work.

Life has changed, and now I am more home and I've really come to love the home staying. In the beginning of my motherhood I struggled with it.
Always be home, always eat home, always miss the parties, the friends everything, always need to cook, always need to do the things at home.

I guess it was an adjustment process, but today I find it very lovely. I like to get out and eat once in a while but just like that, once in a while.

One big reason for this as well is that I think that my husband and I are very good in cooking. It happens rather often, that we go to a place to eat and we come out from there with the feeling that we could have done it the same, if not even better.
SO what's the point then?

Today I made a very good pasta sauce,

1 Onion
3 slices of bacon
1/2 red pepper
1 big carrot
some cream and milk,
mustard
salt
peppar.

Fry the onion with the bacon until the onion is just soft.
Add the pepper and carrot.
Let all the vegetables be fried soft.
Add the cream and some milk.
Salt and peppar, some mustard and just a bit of white wine.
Let it all simmer fora  bit.

Boil some pasta and eat!

I actually ate it with soft boiled white cabbage, I think that is very nice!

Today I also had the "nice" china, let the baby sleep little bit longer, so I ate alone put Zucchero on and just enjoyed!

Do that YOU TOO1
