Fallen in love

In this lamp. I think it would be the coolest lamp to have. Please if you have one, see one, or know anyone that has one. PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I need this one for my house.

Yes, I MADE it!

A proper changing are for you that comes and want to have clothes either made or amend! 

I am crazily proud over the bed! There is things not perfect with it, but it's my first bed, and for that I couldn't be more proud! 

I need to get some more nice looking buttons, to sew in!

Clean up!

I like to have it clean and organized around me. Gradually it turn better and better. 

We move to bigger place, having more storage makes it easier to have it organized. 

I think it's such a reward when going to bed and I know that the house is cleaned for the next morning to come. 

Has been one BIG exception. 

MY atelier. 

CHAOS! CHAOS! CHAOS! 

I always though that in my space, it could be chaos. It was a chaos of creation. That it wasn't really needed to have it in order. It was just the way to create. To be the artist. 

WRONG!!!

FINALLY did I realize that it needs to be freaking organized and cleaned ALL THE TIME in my work studio. 

I tried to manage some work yesterday and it was messy but thought that " what ever, I can manage. Just push some stuff a side" 

Of course it turned not hundred good. Why? I didn't have the space to manage it good. 

So even if you are in a hurry, take your time to clean up if needed as it in the end SAVES time.

Big changes, little work

They where white, and I am shifting them to color. 

Will have them as sitting pillows, in our guest room, around a small table. 

You can do the same!

Flat so far!

Missing some few shelves and as well some small lamps, rugs and some bed blankets, some nice pillows. 

But it's more or less done so here it comes! 

Think that I styled it nice!

fINALLY SETTLED!

So then we are finally good settled. 95% done that need to be done. Just small adjustments and amendments. 

I'M VERY HAPPY. 

It feels wonderful. I have so much space. I have so so sooo much space, compared to the other flat. At least if feels like that.

ORDER. 

I can maintain order. I can keep it nice and organized. Has been a dream for a LONG time now. 

I also just wanted to say that my atelier is MUCH better, and I have tons of space for you to come and see me. 

To feel comfortable when coming, and have the proper space for it. 

I AM HAPPY. 

Since the photo was taken I has as well put up some shelves, to make more ORDER! 

I still need some more small stuff, but in general my room is DONE. 

So just come with your things that needs to be fixed, or your dress that you want to be made!

I' ve got "dille" on pillows

Dille is a Swedish word, don't really know how to translate it. It's something similar to crazy about, but not really. 

And I've got it. This morning I finished 2 more pillows to our bed. >All of them are as well in this romantic flowery fabric. 

I don't really recognize myself! :D

I also made a matching curtain for the room.

And if anyone are in need of some pillows, well then I can make them for you!

Aprons!

I love them, but no one seems to use them. 

I don't know why, as it keeps the clothes in better condition. 

In stead of clothes with oil stains, I have clean clothes. 

So I made some, anyway. Even if people seems to have stopped to use them. Start again!

House Decorations

These two, I made over a year ago. But can't find it here. So I think that I haven't post it. 

I had two painting that wasn't very nice. 

So took, some fabric that I liked and attached the fabric in the frame instead. 

Smaller one, with different fabric. 

Here they are together in the living room.

I got a desk, it was wonderful blue drawers and the top part. 

exactly the same color as the bed for the little girl. 

Been searching something, where I can store things in her room, so it don't turn so messy in the room. 

But as you see in the top picture the rest didn't look to good. 

So I:

Sanded the surface a bit. My thought was to paint it, and then it can't have the lack on the surface. 

Then:

I painted it three times in white color. 

I think I could have done it just two times. 

I still had some red paint left, so when the white was dry, it was just to paint do the red. 

Two coats. 

Voila! 

my baby has a new  furniture in her room. 

Oh and of course, I sawed of the legs, as it was a bit to high, and they where in really bad condition. 

I really like the difference in the red and blue. 

The Blue a bit peeled off, as it's older and the new red. 

  

Avocado

About a year ago I replanted some flowers, I also planted a seed of an avocado.

Completely forgot to show you what happened to it.

When I was in Sweden, it almost died. It was standing in a window with burning sun. So it almost got completely burned out. 

But we manage to save it, but therefor the very long stem and the few leaves in the top. 

But at least it's a live, and I did save some money, as I didn't need to go and buy one. :)

El patio!

For this year the making of hte patio is done! 

We undigged it, resized it, and put the tiles back in theirs space. 

And here is the result!

There is some space infront of hte patio close to the staircase, as we will continue next year, and make it bigger and nicer there. 

Gosh, I think that I need to go a photo course :S

You can't really see the big differens. 

Jewlery box, part 2

So it looked like I couldn't really let go of the idea of the jewelry storage. 

I just felt that being 26 and have the "jewlery" in a box in the toilet just didn't do it. 

So here is the second try:

Had two paper boxes. 

So I cut them and glued them together.

I glued on a fabric vadding. Only for the reason that I liked it. 

I covered this vadding with black fabric. 

But the glue did show some, as you can see. So covered it with this red ribbon. 

And voila! Here is the  jewlery box. Better then the first one, that is for sure. This one I can use, which was impossible with the other one. 

And the next one will be even better!

Jewlery box

Our flat is small, and there is not alot of storage space or space for drawers or shelfs. 

For this reason, my "jewlery" has been lying in a wodden box in the bathroom, with the result that I only wear the same stuff. 

The stuff I never put back. 

So today I was going to change that. 

How?

with this:

This is an old drawer, that feel apart. So been standing now in the hallway, waitin g for a container to come to the neiberhood. 

So thought That I could use this, as my material. 

I measured and measured and draw lines and measured again. 

Lucky me that own a saw!

And here is where I don't understand what happened. With all this measuring, and drawing lines and all. How could this happen?

THIS IS THE RESULT!

I'm no the best in taking pictures, but here I haven't failed. 

Because it looked worse in reality. 

So I made something terrible, look kinda ok. 

Awfulo, awful. Just totally awful. 

It went back in the trash. I didn't wait for a container day with this. I just went straight down and through it away.
