Prague

Oh Prague, you cheeky cheek. You dress yourself in your best dress and showing yourself from your best side. 

The summer and sun, the greenery and happy people. 

I can't understand that it's just one week more here. And you are just showing off now. Teasing me and showing up the best you have. Prague is over for this time, and I couldn't leave in a worse moment. The city is lovely right now. It's green and peaceful. A metropolitan city, but calm and stressfree. it would have been so much better if you could just have kept you in the dress you had some weeks ago. grey, rainy and sad. 

Prague, I've been living here for 5 years, and I have never regretted coming here. I've grown so much as a person and got to know so many lovely persons, so many beautiful places. It has been 5 years of beauty. 

I love you. 

post 21 of december

So the 21 of december came, and left and nothing happened. 

Nothing. 

Ans now when it pasted it seemed so silly to be so scared but I was. 

And almost a little disappointed, well not that the world didn't crumbled down and ended, but something could have happened. 

The planets inline with each other and the three days of darkness  could have occurred. 

Then I wouldn't have felt so silly :D

So the world kept turning around the sun, christmas came and left and now we going towards the new year. 

How was you Christmas?

We left for Sweden, with to much food and to much drinks but we spend it very good. 

   

4 years

It's getting closer now, just in a few days I've been here for four years. 

I was incredible tired of Gothenburg and Sweden. Had the feeling that there had to be more then just sitting there, doing nothing. So decied to go out travel. 

I came with the intentions to be here for a coulple of weeks, maybe a month or two tops. 

Then continue to a new place. Four years later I;m still here. I never went to anouther place. 

And that I'm glad for, because the last four years has been so fun. 

IN these four years I've done so much. From being the newbie in Prague, that had no home and job or friends to mother, wife and many friends that I value so much. 

Of course it's been hard in between, but for the most part it has only been so fun!

Met so many interesting people, seen places that I will have in my heart. 

And yes, the everyday life you get here too, but for some reason that life is so much easier and it feels like some kind of vacation almost all the time!

The summer project

Being here, in Sweden at the country side, can be somewhat long. 

I have no car, so can't just go somewhere, and there are barely any buses to take me anywhere. 

So most of the time, I help out here at the house. Doing things that they have been talking about for as long as I almost can remember. 

My mother has always wanted a bigger patio, is hasn't really been any...

So this summer I helped out to do the patio. 

Me digging out the soil, to make the patio bigger.

Here you can see the are where the "old patio" where. I have taken out the old stone plates. 

We needed to do that, to cover the sand with a special plastic cover, so the weed don't start o grow. 

The back with sand and plates again. 

And here we are today!

You can see the plastic cover for the soil, in the edges of the coming patio. 

We dig it out, and filled it again with lots and lots of sand. 

That is heavy to pull, I can promise you!

Here you can somewhat see how it will look like. 

In the end, it will almost be twice as broad as before!

Don't believe that I've done it all myself, I haven't! 

But I've been apart in all the processes and have done a lot.  

Göteborg

So, back from some days Göteborg, the second largest city in Sweden. I used to live there, before i moved to Prague. Such a cute city, it has a lovely character, and the spirit in that city  is just so nice. 

We're there to celebrate one, of my many, sisters birthday. And we took one extra day to just be in the town as well. 

I really felt I missed the city and it would be so fun, if the future would let me visit more often. 

I met an old friend, that I haven't talk to or have had any contact with over the last 3 years. we talked talked talked one evening, and with so much better mood can I come back to my lovely Prague. 

Been thinking so much of old friends, that I losted contact with, and that I missed and wanted to talk to, and at least I have reconected with one. Feels just good.

Craftmanship fair

Im leaving for Sweden tomorrow. I'm going for various reasons, for the little girl to see the grandparents. 

For me to go to a birthday party for one of my sisters. 

And also to be a exhibitor on a craftmanship fair in Sweden. 

From 29 june - 1st of july.

Accion en cliza

Before christmas I wrote about my husbands social work. To collect some money, buy food for it and hand it to the habitants of a village. 

All  so they could also get some holiday spirit. 

I forgot to show the picture of that day.

I am so proud of them, that they did this. Proud that they thought of other things in christmsa time, then just expensive gifts to each other.
