waking up

I've always thought that I am a night person. That I like to be up at night, and that I work very good at night. That the night is my time.

But you know what, I have noticed that it's not really true.
I've noticed that they days that I start early to get things done, I get the most done. I get tons done. I work so fast, and so good.
I've realized that I work so much better in the morning, early afternoon then in the night.
I'm so much more focused, I'm thinking better and clearer and I am faster. The days I sew during the morning and day I get soooo much more done then the evenings workshops.

I'm still very surprised about it, as I've thought of me as an evening worker. I thought that about myself, as long as I can remember.

The only problem I have though, and maybe because of that my thoughts that I don't work well in mornings, I can't wake up really early.

Before our child it was almost impossible to wake up, weekends was spend in bed. Or at least until 4 pm or so.

Today I get up, and kinda early but I would like it to be at 6 am.
I would love to wake up at 6 am, go run, come home, make breakfast and start the days work.

So please you out there.

How do I do it, how will I manage to get up at 6 am. How do you do it?

  1. Maria I agree with you !!! Waking up early is awesome !!! I love to wake up early, very early...as like that the day seems endless, and you can do soo many things. Few days ago I was in Mui Ne, Vietnam, and I decided to do early morning yoga on the beach...so I woke up at 6, went to the beach did yoga for like 1.5h, than swimming, then sunbathing and when all of this was done...it was just 8.30. How amazing is this ? The whole day ahead :)
Yes, it was a bit difficult at 6, but after a couple of times of early rising my body got used to it :)
So I wish you good luck, and lovely early mornings !
